Youth
We Put Christ First!
At East Side preaching is King! We believe that the spiritual development and maturity of our teens is the most important thing that we do. We attempt to accomplish this by the following~
1. well studied and thought out Sunday School Lessons
2. A fresh and practical Wednesday night Bible Study using the Proteens curriculum.
3. GOOD Christian music is sung each week, void of the world's sound and methods.
4. Teen Area Visitation(held one Sat. each month)
5. VOTM(Verse Of The Month) memorization of God's Word(KJV)
6. TASK Bible Study ( A discussion style Bible study held one Tues. each month)

We Have Fun!
We live in a hardened, sinful world. We do not attempt to compete with the world and its method's. We believe that a youth group can have fun and still honor God. Some of the fun things we do include~
1. Wednesday night games(After Bible study)
2. Monthly Teen Activities (various events)
3. Summer Bible Camp. (This is the pinnacle of our activity year. We travel by tour bus to camp!!)
4. Boy's Campout/ Girls Sleepover (always an adventure)
5. The Spring Formal (Our alternative to the prom)
6. The East Side Militia (Our Paintball Ministry)

If you are visiting our church and are interested in coming to an activity, there will be no cost to you. Please come and be our guest. Are you saved? Are you going to Heaven when you die? Message From Our Youth Pastor And His Wife  | Hello! We are Bryan C. Hartley and Sapphira Hartley. We have been married for 14 wonderful years. We have two beautiful children who are a true blessing from God. We have been working with young people for 12 years now and it is awesome. There is nothing like seeing a young person saved, serving the Lord, and being sanctified. We came on staff March 1, 2007 and we are excited to be apart of this great church. We call our teen group the T.O.E.S. group. T.O.E.S. stands for Teens Of East Side. Our youth departments theme verse is Romans 10:15b. "beautiful are the FEET of them that PREACH the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."
