East Side Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church located in Memphis, Tennessee. We are three miles northeast of interstate 240 on Covington Pike and are easily accessible from the greater metro area.

Church began with 17 people on March 3, 1972, in the living room of Mr. & Mrs. J.J. Bomprezzi. The current property at 3232 Covington Pike was purchased in June of 1972, and the first service was held at that location on July 2nd with 83 people attending.

Since that time the Lord has blessed the attendance so that typical attendance on Sunday worship is approximately 450 people.

The faith-promise missions program has allowed the church to potentially reach 80% of the world’s population through the missionaries supported.
